Abstract
Triaxial induction tool with transmitting and receiving coils oriented in three mutually perpendicular directions was developed to detect formation anisotropy. It is sensitive to the effective vertical resistivity, which is determined by the hydrocarbon-bearing zones, at any dip angle. In this paper, our purpose is to investigate the influence of dipping angle on its magnetic field responses by applying 1-D electromagnetic anisotropic modeling.
