One dimensional (1D) codes based on the analytical transmission line method are very useful tools in simulation of tool responses for log analysts. We have developed a series of codes for the simulation of induction tools (Dip99), MWD tools (MWD99) and triaxial tools (INDTRI) in 1D multi-layered isotropic formation. However, some bugs have been found in both the codes and formulations. In this project, we will correct the errors in both the formulations and codes. The new codes DIP10, MWD10 and INDTRI10 will be validated by comparison with some benchmark and available data. The new codes will be free from existing bugs such as wrong cross components of magnetic fields, execution issue for different transmitter and receiver position, wrong outcomes for nonzero azimuth angle etc. Numerical examples will be discussed to compare the original codes (INDTRI, DIP99, MWD99) and the new codes (INDTRI10, DIP10, MWD10).
